Summary
The Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of both residential and commercial garage doors—including openers and related hardware.
The position requires a high degree of precision, physical fitness, and problem-solving ability, as well as a customer-first mindset.
You’ll be representing a trusted brand, traveling to various job sites, and working both independently and as part of a team to ensure each project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, service, and maintain garage doors and opener systems at residential and commercial sites
• Accurately measure, assemble, and secure door systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues
• Assist with heavy lifting of doors and related equipment
• Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity
• Apply skills in framing, remodeling, drywall, and basic electrical work
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and support teams to deliver seamless service
• Uphold the company’s strong reputation for exceptional workmanship and customer care
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Previous experience installing or servicing garage doors is highly preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic electrical knowledge (wiring and troubleshooting)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
