Summary

Experienced Groundworker - Long-Term Project in Seaham

Pay: £20 - £22 per hour (PAYE/CIS options available)

Location: Seaham

Project Duration: On-going / Long-term

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Civil Works: Assisting with the construction of new stations and other site infrastructure.

  • Utilities Installation: Laying and installing underground cables and other utilities.

  • Site Preparation: Carrying out general groundworks, including site clearance, temporary access roads, and setting up site welfare compounds.

  • Specialised Tasks: Supporting horizontal directional drilling (HDD) activities.

  • General Groundworks: Performing a range of duties including drainage, concreting, and general labouring to support the project.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Groundworker on similar civil engineering or utilities projects.

  • Essential Tickets: CSCS Card, NRSWA / Street Works Ticket, CPCS or NPORS Plant Tickets

  • Skills: A strong understanding of health and safety protocols, the ability to read and interpret site plans, and a proactive, reliable work ethic.
