Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Track Chargeman (TCM) / PTS Operative Team Leader to join our rail team at Old Oak Common. This position is a long-term opportunity with up to 9 years of guaranteed work for the right candidate. As a Track Chargeman (TCM) / PTS Operative Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a gang of operatives, ensuring safety, productivity, and compliance on all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the designated Track Chargeman (TCM) / PTS Operative Team Leader on site.
Lead and manage a rail gang to deliver planned works efficiently.
Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and allocate tasks effectively.
Ensure all team members work in line with safety standards and procedures.
Operate and oversee the use of small tools.
Report to site management and update progress regularly.
Requirements
Proven previous experience as a Track Chargeman (TCM) / PTS Operative Team Leader, leading gangs on railway projects.
Valid PTS with Track Induction.
Competent in the use of Small Tools.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Committed and reliable, with the ability to support a long-term project.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday: 9-hour day shifts.
Weekends: 12-hour shifts.
Contract & Pay
Long-term contract: 9 years based out of Old Oak Common.
