Summary
Due to our expanding business we require a Care Manager to support the
the Registered Domiciliary Care Manager in ensuring high quality domiciliary care services are provided to clients to enable them to retain their independence and remain living in their homes.
Duties:
• To take responsibility for the effective operational management of the care service.
• To ensure the service meets all statutory and Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements and relevant legislation.
• To take responsibility for the effective management and development of the care service.
• To work effectively as part of the team and support the Registered Manager and all colleagues as required.
• To protect the confidentiality of clients and the organisation.
• To participate in the on-call emergency out of hours rota.
• To oversee emergencies and incidents and provide advice and guidance to the team.
• To develop, promote, and maintain an effective system of communication with clients, families, staff, and other significant stakeholders.
• To investigate complaints and dissatisfaction in line with the organisation’s policy.
• To work in partnership with other professionals and attend multi-agency meetings when required.
• To carry out staff supervisions and performance reviews.
