Summary
Accurately print chemotherapy prescriptions (using the electronic prescribing system MOSAIQ), ensuring all relevant details are complete and correct. Download, organise, and maintain patient appointment reports, ensuring accessibility for the chemotherapy verification team. Track all prescriptions onto the Prescription Tracking System and monitor patient appointments daily, ensuring accurate scheduling, follow-up, and coordination. Manage and file patient prescription records, ensuring they are current and compliant with healthcare regulations. Liaise with the aseptic unit co-ordinator to ensure that all prescriptions are available. Liaise with the Chemotherapy Day Units to plan the dispensing of chemotherapy for the week ahead with the Advanced Specialist Technician, Cancer Services and chemotherapy verification pharmacists. Work with minimal supervision to manage own workload to meet deadlines and use own initiative to prioritise and organise work. For further details please see the attached job description.
