Summary
Dealing with telephone queries, checking and updating patient information with clinical staff, managers and patientsCommunicating information verbally and in writing, providing routine information for patients and staff on, for example discharge, admission, transfers May be required to handle barriers to understanding for example anxious patients, relatives, cultural differences, and language or communication difficultiesAnalytical & JudgementalResolves problems, such as locating notes, patient appointment issues, accuracy of patient information, ward queries and escalating when necessary Planning and Organisation Organises own workloadOrganises patient transportation, discharges, appointments and patient admissions(ADTs)
