More detail about the role We are a busy 24 bedded emergency surgical assessment unit caring for emergency admissions in the specialities of colorectal, upper GI, urology and gynaecology including early pregnancy complications. Within the ward we have a separate ambulatory assessment unit, taking admissions from the emergency department and GP referrals and a surgical emergency outpatient clinic and our staff work within all of these areas. As a team, we strive for excellence in everything that we do; incorporating the 6 Cs in our nursing. All posts include a commitment to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the service. Full time hours available.
