More detail about the role We are a busy 24 bedded emergency surgical assessment unit caring for emergency admissions in the specialities of colorectal, upper GI, urology and gynaecology including early pregnancy complications. Within the ward we have a separate ambulatory assessment unit, taking admissions from the emergency department and GP referrals and a surgical emergency outpatient clinic and our staff work within all of these areas. As a team, we strive for excellence in everything that we do; incorporating the 6 Cs in our nursing. All posts include a commitment to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the service. Full time hours available. If you enjoy outdoor activities and value a good work life balance with access to outstanding beaches for swimming, surfing and kite surfing or walking along coastal paths surrounded by Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks then join us at North Devon District Hospital.
