Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established metal fabrication business based in Blackpool, supplying precision-engineered components to a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team.

The Role:

This is a hands-on position for an experienced fabricator who takes pride in quality workmanship. You will be responsible for producing accurate, high-standard welds and fabrications in line with drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard

Read and interpret engineering drawings and follow project specifications

Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble a variety of metal components

Use hand and power tools for precise cutting and finishing

Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements

Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised work environment

The Candidate:

Fully competent in MIG & TIG welding (essential)

Proven experience in fabrication and metal assembly

Ability to read and work from technical drawings

Competent in using fabrication tools, machinery, and measuring equipment

Reliable, hardworking, and committed to producing quality work

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Pay: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 3:30pm | Friday, 7:00am – 2:00pm
