Summary

Job title: Housekeeper

Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Mayfair, London W1K

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeper to join our household in Mayfair.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous in cleaning, organised and able to manage various housekeeping tasks efficiently.

Main duties:

Domestic duties:
Perform thorough cleaning of all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and ironing items.

Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and reporting needs for replenishment.

Occasionally assist with light cooking or meal preparation.

Adhere to health and safety regulations in performing all cleaning tasks.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 6 hours per week with potential to rise to 10 hours per week.

Rate of pay: £13.85 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
 Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning role
 Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
 Ability to work independently and take initiative
 Good communication skills
 Must be reliable and trustworthy

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
