An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client at their Tier 3 RCVS-accredited Hospital in Leicester. This role is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon eager to work across all areas of general practice, with a balanced mix of consulting and operating. However, for those with particular interests, the hospital can support a bias towards Inpatient Care or Surgery.
The hospital is proud to deliver an excellent standard of both primary care and advanced referral services. While referral, OOH, and advanced services are available, the team equally champions their primary care vets and the outstanding service they provide for routine and first-opinion cases.
About the Location
Based in the vibrant city of Leicester – the largest city in the East Midlands – the hospital offers excellent travel links, access to great schools, and beautiful surrounding countryside. Leicester is a modern city rich in history, with plenty to offer whether one enjoys outdoor pursuits or city life.
About the Hospital & Team

The facilities include in-house CT, dedicated dental suites equipped with dental X-ray, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, and advanced ophthalmology equipment. The practice also holds Cat-Friendly Status and proudly boasts a Gold award.
The team values collaboration and knowledge-sharing, with regular clinical discussions and monthly team meetings. Support for certificate studies is available, and those with particular interests are encouraged to discuss them.
Wellbeing & Support
Staff wellbeing is a key priority, with wellness initiatives including personalised rotas to promote work-life balance, access to counselling services, stress management resources, monthly wellbeing events, and workshops in areas such as positive psychology. The hospital is also working towards becoming an Endometriosis-Friendly Employer.
This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a progressive, supportive hospital team with excellent facilities, a strong culture of collaboration, and a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing.
