Summary

Salary: £33,594 - £50,589 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 21 per week

We provide high quality learning experiences for over 450 Primary children and over 70 Nursery children. Our children's success is a key priority for us. We have good attainment in Literacy and Numeracy. Our approach to planning is based on stage collaboration which is then tailored to meet the needs of individual learners. We have a strong team who provide bespoke interventions to children and families to make sure they receive the right support, at the right time.

As part of our commitment to Getting it Right to Every Child we are looking for a Support for Learning Teacher who will work to ensure every child can claim their right to an education. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, compassionate and invested in children. Your values will be underpinned by the UNCRC and Teachers Charter and you will play a key role in raising attainment through capacity building, support for learners, working with partners, managing individual support plans and co-ordinating our school PSA team.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
