Summary
Brightwork are currently recruiting for an immediately available QC Lab Analyst to join our prestigious drinks production client at one of their sites in Fife to work on a full-time, temporary basis.
This is a full time role, working Monday - Friday, Day-shift.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine testing and analysis to ensure product quality.
- Work hands-on with equipment (HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, etc.).
- Support microbiology testing and yeast performance monitoring.
- Keep our lab stocked, calibrated, and running smoothly.
- Record and present data that drives real process improvements.
- Collaborate with operators and technical teams to solve challenges.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and support continuous growth.
Successful candidate
- Working experience within a similar role ideally within the food or drink industry
- Candidate will have a degree within a scientific function
- Practical knowledge of operation and maintenance of analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC, HPLC-MS and GC-MS
- Knowledge of Brewing/Distilling would be advantageous
- Experience in Chemical analyses, Microbiological analyses or Brewing Quality Control
