Summary

Quality Assurance Technician – Join Our Team!

Are you passionate about food safety, quality, and continuous improvement?
We’re looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Technician to play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards while supporting production and driving improvements across the business.

Working Hours
  • Standard: 8:00am – 4:00pm (3 weeks)


  • Early shift: 5:00am – 2:00pm (1 week)


  • Plus: Occasional overtime available


    Key Responsibilities
    • Guarantee product safety and quality through effective Food Safety & QA systems.


    • Carry out QA & QC checks: temperature, specification, weight, traceability, calibration, cleaning, and tasting.


    • Monitor critical control points (HACCP) and ensure compliance.


    • Support staff training in Food Hygiene, HACCP awareness, GMP, and Health & Safety.


    • Investigate customer complaints and returns, ensuring corrective action is taken.


    • Maintain certification schemes (BRC, Red Tractor) and support audits/inspections.


    • Monitor hygiene standards and lead improvements where needed.


    • Actively contribute to process improvement and continuous development.


      Qualifications, Skills & Experience
      • GCSEs/A-Levels with 1+ year experience, or a relevant Degree.


      • Training in Food Safety & Quality Systems (desirable).


      • Previous food manufacturing / BRC systems experience preferred.


      • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and resilience.


      • IT literate with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
