Summary
Main Duties and Responsibilities - Provide visible, compassionate, and transformational leadership across clinical areas. - Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care. - Act as a clinical expert and role model, supporting evidence-based practice. - Lead and support staff performance, development, recruitment, and retention. - Oversee workforce planning, skill mix reviews, and staffing standards. - Promote continuous improvement through governance, audit, and service evaluation. - Lead on infection prevention, patient safety, and complaint resolution. - Support emergency planning, risk management, and clinical standards. - Drive innovation, research, and implementation of best practice. - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated, effective care. - Represent nursing at divisional and Trust-wide strategic meetings. - Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, learning, and Trust values.
