Available Posts:
22 hrs per week
• 4-week rolling rota
• Includes 8-hour sleep-ins (paid at an additional rate)
16 hrs per week

What is the Role?
The individuals are very active and love being out in the community, whether it is for their voluntary work, a shopping trip or going to the library. One is involved in the local Warriors rugby club, and others enjoy going to Cardiff to see shows. There is a lot of activity to keep up with!
You will contribute to enabling people to set, develop and achieve their goals, being part of which is highly rewarding.
You will be involved in all aspects of day to day support for our clients, including;
Supporting with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and laundry
Planning support with the individuals with the use of electronic care planning
Attending support reviews
Supporting individuals to keep in touch with family and friends
Accompanying them to attend activities of choice
Encouraging them to find jobs voluntary work
Support with medication and health visits
Providing social and emotional support
What skills and experience do you need?
Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and mental health is not essential as you will benefit from full training and support from your team and management.
More important to us are your listening skills, empathy, a genuine desire to make a difference and live our values to be Positive, Considerate and Connected.

What are the pay and benefits?
Hourly rate of £12.75 making the annual salary £24,531 FTE
Sleep in rate - £62.64
