Summary
An Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery in the heart of Tooting (SW17) is looking for a Room Leader to join their vibrant, supportive team. We’re a warm, welcoming setting where every day is filled with curiosity, creativity, and laughter.
Excellent Salary £29k to £32k + Benefits
Location – Tooting SW17
Rooms available : Toddler & Preschool
Hours – 40 Hours / week (5 days or 4 days option)
Qualification - Level 3 or above with either Senior Practitioner or Room Leader experience
Your main duties as a Preschool Room Leader would be:
• To support children’s learning using Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and parental aspirations
• Planning, observing and assessing children in your care
• Record keeping
• Risk Assessment
• Assisting with meals/ snack times
• Ensuring health and safety/ safeguarding standards are met
• Interacting with parents and updating them on child's progress
• Supervising staff in your room
• Liaising with external professionals
Qualifications & Experience required for Room Leader :
• Level 3 or above with senior Practitioner or Room Leader experience.
• A firm understanding of the EYFS framework
• Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
