Summary

At Bath & North-East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose – to improve people’s lives.

About the Role:

This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to support independence, dignity, and wellbeing for our tenants. As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our overnight care team, helping residents live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

What you’ll do:

Support tenants with personal care routines such as washing, dressing, and hygiene.
Encourage independence and choice, always treating individuals with dignity and respect.
Keep accurate records of care provided and support accessed.
Help tenants connect with NHS and third-party services.
Work collaboratively with your team and take initiative when needed.
Promote active lifestyles and empower tenants to stay in control of their lives.
Alternate weekends and some bank holidays (enhanced pay applies).
