- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, measurements, and progress reports.
- Identify and resolve any technical or design issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction, or a related field are preferred.
Day-to-Day
- Conducting site surveys and setting out points for construction activities.
- Liaising with the site team to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies or challenges encountered on-site.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed site records and reports.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
