Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client - a rapidly growing engineering company based in Weymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and driving the company's key performance indicators (KPIs) across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Key Duties:
  • Monitor and maintain all quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and support investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Review and interpret First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
  • Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external quality-related matters.
  • Assist with internal and external auditing schedules and processes.
  • Promote and implement standardised processes and best practices across the organisation.
Requirements:
  • ISO 9001 / AS9100 audit trained.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001 and NADCAP standards.
  • Previous experience working in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
