Baler Operative – Waste & Recycling Industry
Location: Grantham, NG32
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Smart Solutions Recruitment is currently hiring an experienced and reliable Baler Operative to join a growing waste management company in the Grantham (NG32) area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that is rapidly expanding its UK operations and investing in people
What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating Lyndex Meggabite baler machinery safely and efficiently
Loading recyclable materials into the baler
Monitoring machine performance and ensuring the production of high-quality bales
Performing routine maintenance and daily machine checks
Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
Assisting with general yard duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in the waste & recycling sector is essential
Hands-on experience operating a Lyndex Meggabite baler is required
Strong focus on health & safety in the workplace
Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
A proactive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
