Weighbridge Operative -St Neots
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour| Weekly Pay | Paid Every Friday
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 6 am to 4 pm
Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for Weighbridge Operative to join our client, a leading name in the waste management industry, based in ST Neots.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating the weighbridge: Accurately recording vehicle weights, both incoming and outgoing, using the weighbridge equipment and system.
Data entry and management: Entering weight data, vehicle details, and material information into the system
Documentation and records: Managing weighbridge tickets, waste transfer notes, and other relevant documentation.
Traffic control: Directing traffic flow within the weighbridge area, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
Compliance and safety: Ensuring vehicles comply with site rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
Customer service: Providing information and assistance to drivers and other site visitors.
Reporting and analysis: Generating reports on weighbridge operations and material flow using the system.
Skills and Qualifications:
Computer proficiency: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with data entry.
Communication skills: Ability to interact professionally with drivers and other site personnel.
Attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial for recording weight data and maintaining records.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
Experience in a weighbridge environment: Desired.
Knowledge of waste/recycling industry regulations: Helpful, but not always essential.
