Looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) / Support Worker to support a 29-year-old neurodivergent individual in Yate. This is a rewarding role focused on providing person-centred support to help access the community, attend events, and manage day-to-day needs.

About the Role:The PA will act as a second pair of hands when out and about – helping with tasks that may become overwhelming for the employer, including:· Attending social events and community activities· Monitoring and prompting around eating, drinking, and other wellbeing needs· Being present to offer calm, practical support when sensory or emotional overwhelm arises· Supporting communication and advocacy when needed· Assisting with small day-to-day tasks (e.g. helping retrieve items, reminders, etc.)

You’ll also be providing support alongside an ADUK Assistance Dog, a friendly standard poodle who plays an important role in daily life. He’s calm whilst 'on the job’ but can also be a bit playful and silly at times!

About You:We’re looking for someone who is:· Understanding of and/ or open-minded to learn about AuDHD (Autism and ADHD) and neurodivergence· Empathetic, calm, and observant, able to offer support in a low-pressure way· Comfortable around large dogs· Flexible with working hours (exact times/days to be agreed)

A full, clean driving licence is preferrable, as you may be asked to drive the employer’s Motability vehicle – particularly helpful if the employer is feeling overwhelmed or tired. You do not need access to your own vehicle.

Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references

If you're someone who enjoys helping others feel at ease, values neurodiversity, and likes making a real difference in someone’s everyday life, we’d love to hear from you.
