Summary
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Loading Shovel Driver to join our successful client based in the Leamington Spa,CV33 area. Our client is a leader within garden and food waste composting facility industry.
A current valid Loading Shovel (wheeled) certificate along with previous experience is essential.
Loading Shovel Driver - Duties & Responsibilities
The role involves operating Loading Shovel Truck to perform a various of task, processing food and green waste including operating wheeled loading shovel, mobile shredder, mobile screener and maintenance associated with plant used. Drive loading shovel to transport materials within the facility & ensure the health & safety standards are met.
Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste
Transporting material, feeding lines and hoppers with material for process
Supporting general yard operations & co-operate with site management as required
Be aware of environmental factors and act accordingly – weather conditions, wind, noise, dust and litter
Emptying chutes and bunkers
Loading Shovel Driver - Person Specification
Experience in similar position
Valid Loading Shovel license
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
