Join us as a Partnerships Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity to join NW Boxed's rapidly expanding partnerships team. As a Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining a top-tier supplier program, ensuring efficient procurement processes, and generating valuable management information (MI) and insights to achieve commercial objectives. This is a hands-on position, perfect for an experienced procurement professional who thrives in agile environments and possesses a deep understanding of both regulatory compliance and commercial value creation.
What you'll do:
- Manage E2E sourcing activity for suppliers across multi categories, including developing category strategies, conducting competitive RFP’s, identifying suppliers that align with the company OKRs and managing complex negotiations that deliver strong commercial & contractual outcomes
- Collaborate and influence a diverse set of internal/external stakeholders to ensure all partnership onboarding & in-life activities adhere to our processes, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Develop, optimise and implement procurement processes, systems & tools to enhance agility and operational efficiency
- Responsible for the build and ongoing management of the Partnerships Hub / Repository to support the business and provide clear visibility, guidance and self service capabilities for all processes
- Effectively Manage supplier performance to proactively resolve issues and drive long-term partnerships & commercial outcomes
- Strategically leverage and continuously refine core data / MI to extract, report, and present data-driven procurement and financial insights with actionable outcomes
- Support business and finance with procurement budgeting and forecasting; ensure supplier spend is managed in line with financial targets
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:
- Proven Procurement experience ideally in regulated and/or fintech sectors (CIPS qualification preferred)
- Data analytics: Strong ability to extract, analyse, and present data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive commercial outcomes
- Process Optimisation & Change Management: Proven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, implement efficient solutions, and drive successful organisational change.
- Strong commercial acumen: Understand, negotiate and interpret complex commercial structures and build them into forecasting and budgeting.
- Stakeholder management: Proven ability to manage and influence C-suite stakeholders across internal functions and external partners to drive alignment and resolve complex challenges
- Agile & Cross-Functional Working: Comfortable in agile, fast-paced environments with cross-functional collaboration and managing multiple priorities and projects
In addition, the following will be very advantageous:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to a senior audience. Proficient in creating presentations and executive summaries
- Solid understanding of financial outsourcing regulations
- Proficiency in procurement software / tools and collaboration tooling such as Google Workspace or equivalent
