A core subject (Mathematics) leader who will:
• implement policies and practices which reflect the school’s commitment to high standards and achievement through effective teaching and learning.
• ensure continuity and progression in the subject by supporting colleagues in choosing the appropriate sequence of teaching and teaching methods.
• build upon current effective practice and identify areas for improvement, and take appropriate action to improve to further the quality of teaching.
• monitor the subject through a range of methods to inform next steps in effective practice.
• maintain the school’s effective practice to ensure consistency in teaching and learning.
• use own practice as an example of high-quality teaching and learning.
