Summary
As the Media Support Officer, day to day, you will be managing works requests from customers, operating our printers and copiers, finishing (stapling, binding, laminating, hole punching) documents and mounting vinyl display work for classrooms on board. In addition, you will be supporting customers with ensuring their documents and submissions are ready for production (proofing and formatting).
This is a productive and satisfying job important to ensuring our soldiers have training material that allows them to learn safely and to the highest standards and is part of a good team that collaborates and works together to support each other.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Managing customers and their works requests for printing and production and directing non print tasks to the Training Technology Enhanced Learning lead
Basic design and formatting of files to ensure they are MOD compliant with Branding and Policy
Producing hardcopy printed training material such as publications, pamphlets, and posters by using printers, copiers, punchers, guillotines, and scalpels
Ensuring all resources such as consumables (toner, paper etc) are stocked and ordered when needed by producing simple business cases and ordering via Government Procurement systems to purchase them
Supporting TTEL with other functions such as stores and safety
