Summary
We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our team to help during the busy exams periods. Invigilators have a vital role in supporting the young people in our school, and in upholding the integrity and security of the examination process. In addition to supporting within the main examination hall, some members of the Invigilator team work with students who have special exam access arrangements, such as those students who are entitled to a scribe or reader for their examinations.
Our team of Exam Invigilators work on a casual basis during the mock examinations windows (November/December, March/April) and external examinations in May and June. The hours are variable depending upon the exam timetable and applicants must be able to work flexible hours during the school day.
Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and assertively, and must be reliable, punctual and flexible. Training and guidance will be provided.
The Athelstan Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this obligation. Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
The Athelstan Trust is an equal opportunities employer.
