Senior Healthcare Assistant – Day Shifts | Full-Time | £14.40 per hour
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join its dedicated team in a welcoming, homely residential care home for older adults. What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or above).
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (ideally with supervisory or senior-level responsibilities).
- Strong understanding of older adults’ care, including dementia awareness.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
- Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, supporting residents with daily living, dignity, and independence.
- Lead and mentor care staff, ensuring high standards of care and teamwork.
- Administer and record medications in line with policies and procedures (training provided if required).
- Build warm, respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate care plans, observations, and documentation.
- Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control standards.
