Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced COSS with Strapping & NSCD to join our rail team in Havant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable contract with guaranteed midweek night shifts and the possibility of extension. Weekend uplift opportunities are also available.
The successful COSS with Strapping & NSCD will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of on-track activities, coordinating staff effectively, and upholding the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the appointed COSS with Strapping & NSCD during all relevant works.
Ensure all trackside operations are carried out safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
Implement and monitor safe systems of work.
Oversee strapping and NSCD operations as part of the role.
Maintain effective communication with site teams and supervisors.
Support the planning and execution of work schedules.
Essential Requirements
Must hold a valid COSS with Strapping & NSCD competency.
Must have a valid Track Induction (essential).
Proven experience working in a rail environment.
Ability to manage staff and enforce safety protocols.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends if required.
Benefits
Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week (4 x Midweek Nights).

Competitive pay rate of £20 per hour (Umbrella).
Potential for contract extension beyond 6 months.
