Summary
Fabric Painter/improver
Responsibilities
-To deliver a reactive and planned decorating service as directed by the Building & Fabric Manager. This is to include making good, painting and installing some protection elements (corner/wall protection) as and when required.
-Ensure all PPMs issued are completed thoroughly and on time
Person Specification
-The Fabric Painter/improver shall work within the Maintenance Team reporting to the Fabric Supervisor and The Building & Fabric Manager. The ideal candidate shall be ideally technically qualified to City and Guilds level standard and experienced in performing operational and maintenance duties in large building complexes. Previous experience of working on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance is essential.
-Provide support to the wider Maintenance Team when called upon.
-Provide cover to support the Building Fabric Tradespersons when required.
-Undertake any related additional duties as reasonably required by Senior Management.
The post holder must accept responsibility for ensuring that the policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety in the workplace are adhered to at all times.
The post holder must respect the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means in line with the Data Protection Act.
The post holder must carry out their responsibilities with due regard to the non-smoking environment of the Hospital
