Summary
WHAT YOULL DO The performance of routine neurophysiological diagnostic tests such as EEGs, nerve conduction studies and evoked potentials in the department, on the wards or ICU areas. To perform advanced or specialist tests ambulatory EEG, videotelemetry or melatonin sleep EEGs. Assisting or solely responsible for spinal intraoperative monitoring (banding dependant). To participate in teaching and training of junior staff. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR We are looking for exceptional, energetic and committed individuals to complement our existing experienced team. You will be encouraged to take an active part in developing the service, through innovation, learning, research and development. We look to continually improve our service and build upon the excellent reputation we already have. You will have the necessary qualifications (BSc (CP (N)), BTEC HNC/D MPPM or equivalent). Experience in performing basic and more advanced neurophysiological techniques. Be able to write a technical EEG report. Be enthusiastic with a keen interest in Neuroscience. Experience/knowledge of intra-operative monitoring.
