Summary
Cleaner / Housekeeper (2-Week Contract)
Student Accommodation | Sheffield
Hourly Rate: £12.60
Hours: 9am – 5pm, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday
Contract: Tuesday 16th September – 2 weeks
Are you an experienced Housekeeper / Cleaner looking for a short-term role in Sheffield?
Our client, a well-established provider of Student Accommodation, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support their team during a busy period.
This is a hands-on role focused on hotel-style room cleaning, including bed-making and re-cleans, with occasional duties in shared social spaces.
Cleaner / Housekeeper Key Responsibilities:
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, toilets, and shower rooms
• Emptying bins and managing rubbish disposal
• Hoovering and cleaning communal/social areas (as required)
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
Cleaner / Housekeeper Requirements:
• Previous experience in hotel-style housekeeping or student accommodation cleaning
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Professional and friendly attitude when interacting with residents
• Flexibility to work weekends if required
• Able to work independently and maintain high cleanliness standards
