SALARY: £12.46 per Hour + Overtime at £16.20 per Hour (for over 39 Hours per Week) + Profit Share + Benefits (see below)

WORKING HOURS: 39 Hours per Week, 07:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 12:00 Friday
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Manufacturing Industrial Cleaner / Yard Operative who has previous cleaning experience within a manufacturing or engineering company who has an eye for detail and cleanliness.
Working as the Manufacturing Industrial Cleaner / Yard Operative you will provide essential support to the machine shop team. The position is central to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, which is critical for the seamless operation of the production processes.
As the Manufacturing Industrial Cleaner / Yard Operative you will also be responsible for the upkeep of the site. This includes general housekeeping and cleaning of workshop floors and machinery, as well as the deep cleaning of work areas to uphold the company’s rigorous health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
A flexible and proactive approach to work is essential, as the role may also require assisting colleagues in other areas of the business to support overall operational needs.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the team, ensuring that all workspaces meet the company’s high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Manufacturing Industrial Cleaner / Yard Operative include:
• Housekeeping & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning and upkeep of workshop floors and work areas, including machinery
• Waste Management: Handle the emptying and changing of industrial bins
• Compliance & Safety: Uphold company policies regarding health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Team Support: Adopt a flexible approach to assist colleagues in other areas of the business as needed
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• You must have recent experience in industrial cleaning (Essential)
• You must have the right to work in the UK
• You should have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a sense of pride in your work
• You need to have strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions effectively
• You should be able to work in a physically demanding environment
• You must be self-motivated and capable of working well independently
