The Role
We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic Physics Teacher to join a thriving and forward-thinking school in Leeds. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a unique opportunity. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will create a stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop a genuine love for the subject. You will play a crucial role in preparing students for their GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and examination board specifications.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)
Skills Required
- Outstanding subject knowledge in Physics, up to and including A-Level.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning.
- Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- Creativity in developing engaging and inspiring lesson plans.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physics lessons across all key stages.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Create and maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and departmental resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide professional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and support to a group of students.
- Uphold the school's values and ethos.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and subject-related clubs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom.
