Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school located in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational experiences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learners with additional needs, working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism
- Implement individual learning and behaviour plans in collaboration with teaching staff
- Use structured communication strategies and visual aids (e.g. , PECS, visual schedules)
- Help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to monitoring progress and adapting support as needed

Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with Autism
- Understanding of ASD-specific strategies and tools
- Strong communication, patience, and resilience
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- A relevant qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
