Summary

Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Oldham - Step Teachers
Start: ASAP (September 2025) | Pay: £95/day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-Time | Mon-Fri | 8:30am-3:30pm



Join a top-rated specialist school in Oldham supporting students with Autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs. Ideal for Psychology grads with 3+ months' experience working with children or teens.



As Special Needs Teaching Assistant you'll support students 1:1 and in small groups, helping with both learning and emotional development. Use positive behaviour strategies and work closely with teachers, families, and professionals like psychologists and social workers.

Perfect if you're aiming for careers in education, mental health, or youth work. You're empathetic, resilient, and confident around young people.



Experience from volunteering, placements, or paid roles all counts.
