Summary

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging and effective sessions in English and Maths to learners aged 16 and above. You'll support learners to achieve qualifications from Entry Level to Level 2, helping them gain the confidence and knowledge they need to progress in education or employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Functional Skills sessions (English, Maths, and/or ICT)

Assess learners' needs and tailor teaching methods accordingly

Provide constructive feedback and one-to-one support

Requirements:

Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. , PGCE, CertEd, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training)

Subject specialism or teaching experience in Functional Skills (Maths, English and/or ICT)
