SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE£34,005 per annumPermanent, Full-time position, 37.5 hours per weekDowning College is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join its friendly team of chefs who prepare a range of high quality food, including fine dining, to the College community and commercial guests. Based in a stunning environment in central Cambridge, Downing also has a thriving conference business and provides customers with a choice of superior conference, meeting and theatre facilities. The Catering team supports this business as well as serving lunch and dinner for up to 400 Fellows, staff and students each day. You will be expected to ensure the highest possible standards of food preparation and will need to bring:Relevant experience, gained in a busy commercial environmentExperience in menu and recipe development, costing and implementationExperience supervising a large kitchen with multi-outlets and fine diningExcellent understanding of allergen management and labellingExcellent culinary skillsAn ability to manage multiple functions food deliveryEnthusiasm and a flexible approach to work tasksThe College offers a great workplace, has a commitment to staff wellbeing.
