About the role

Are you a skilled carpenter looking for a role that offers real variety and the chance to make a difference every day? We’re looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Repairs Team! In this role, no two days are the same. You’ll take on a wide range of tasks, providing general carpentry repairs on day-to-day maintenance works, voids, programmed works and adaptations, including repairs and maintenance to UPVc windows and doors, lock changes and force entries.

In addition to above, the post holder will be expected to carry out basic plumbing, tiling, decorating, small plastering work and minor masonry tasks, as well as installing complete kitchen and bathrooms and participating in the ‘out of hours’ service as required.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

has the ability to plan and manage own workload to achieve deadlines and targets.
can deliver excellent customer care, ensuring residents feel respected, supported, and informed throughout every repair or installation.
commitment to working in line with our core values – acting with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to quality in everything you do
has an NVQ 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
has a Full Driving Licence and the ability to drive a company vehicle and comply with the requirements of the company insurers
