Summary
We are currently looking for a Small Animal Vet to be based across 2 of our GP practices in Cheshire, Lymm Veterinary Surgery and Birchwood Vets in Warrington. Ideally the role would be offered on a FT basis working across 4 days per week. There would also be some weekend and bank holiday commitments which would be based at our Beech house Veterinary centre – currently going through RCVS Hospital status.
• Working alongside a dual-site Clinical Director who has a strong surgical bias, SA Vet and a newly qualified Graduate (if you are a Vet GDP Advisor that would also be an advantage).
• We are looking for a SA GP Vet who is happy working across consults, medicine work ups and general first opinion surgical cases, both teams offer a wealth of experience within their roles and also within the Willows Veterinary Group.
• Wellbeing is a massive focus for our teams with Lymm achieving “Finalist” status for our Wellbeing Practice of the year award in 2024.
In return we can offer the following benefits;
• An excellent salary up to £60,000
• 6.6 weeks holiday entitlement including bank holidays,
• Workplace pension scheme
• RCVS membership reimbursed and VDS cover
• CPD allowance of £1750 (this would increase for a certificate holder)
• Certificates funded and strongly encouraged
• Enhanced sick, maternity and parental leave,
• Buy/Sell Holiday and cycle to work scheme
• Staff discounts for your pets
• Healthshield wellbeing programme
• In house referral hospital and OOH’s team
If you are interested in applying for the position, please email your CV and covering letter to recruitment@willowsvetgroup.co.uk, or if you wish to have an initial chat, please call Louise White on 07971 632569.
