Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing nutritious and tasty meals, with the ability to cater for both English and international cuisines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of English and international dishes to a high standard.
Monitor and manage stock of ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times, including daily cleaning before and after use.
Clean and tidy tables, dining areas, and any rooms used for meal service.
Support with additional duties as required to ensure the smooth running of meal services.
Provide warm and courteous service to all diners, demonstrating a willingness to help wherever needed.
Requirements:
Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene (or willingness to undertake the course prior to starting).
Experience in cooking and kitchen management (preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and a positive, service-minded attitude.
