Working pattern: 37 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days (39 weeks)
Contract term: FTC for one year until 31.08.2026

The School:
Springwell Community College is an 11-16 Secondary School in Staveley, Northeast Derbyshire. Our aim at Springwell is to deliver a great Education to our students. We expect our students to work hard and every day towards these and be kind to each other, themselves and their community.

The role:
Springwell Community College are looking to appoint an Assistant SENCO to provide support to the SENCO and other relevant teams. The Assistant SENCO will work closely with the SENCO to assist with the identification, assessment and provision of SEND students. The Assistant SENCO will be expected to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, and provide students with guidance, support and challenges.

The successful candidate will be patient, approachable and reliable with resilience and commitment to their workload and responsibilities. The post holder will aspire to help students in every way they can, whilst upholding confidentiality and keep in practice the Trusts policies.
