Summary
We're Hiring: Activities Assistant (Part-Time, Weekends)
Location: Walton Park Care home, Walton-on-Thames
Hours: 20 hours per week (primarily weekends)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We're looking for a compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to help make weekends something our residents look forward to.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Planning and leading engaging activities such as arts & crafts, music sessions, games, and gentle exercise
• Supporting residents to participate in group and one-to-one activities tailored to their interests
• Helping to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and special events with flair and fun
• Working closely with the Activities Lead to promote wellbeing and inclusion
What We're Looking For:
• A warm, friendly personality with a genuine passion for working with older people
• Creative thinking and a can-do attitude—no two days are the same!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a care or activity-based role is a bonus, but not essential
