Summary
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – GLASGOW – £28-£32K + 10% ANNUAL BONUS
OPR are working with a leading Build to Rent operator to source a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Technician for a flagship residential development in Glasgow City Centre. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance and customer service in a vibrant community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out day-to-day maintenance across apartments and communal areas, including painting, decorating, joinery, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks
Support the mobilisation of the building, including snagging, defect management, and contractor coordination
Conduct daily compliance checks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Manage apartment turnarounds, ensuring high standards between tenancies
Liaise with residents and contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues
Maintain stock levels and ensure all tools and equipment are available for tasks
Ensure all areas of the building, including exterior and car parks, are clean and well-presented
About You:
Previous experience in residential maintenance, ideally within BTR, PRS, PBSA or hospitality sectors
Skilled in carpentry, joinery, painting & decorating; basic plumbing/electrical knowledge desirable
Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance; IOSH certification is a plus
Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload effectively
A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service
