Summary

Leading development and delivery of corporate communications and engagement strategy, you will build trust with partners, internal stakeholders and workforce. You will motivate, create shared identity and increase engagement, paying attention to individual communication preferences and an increasingly dispersed workforce to help employees perform their jobs well. You will:

Engage leaders and employees in a way that motivates people to maximise performance and deliver business strategy effectively.
Lead on the communications and engagement strategy and oversee delivery through a network of cross-government communications and engagement teams, including cross-partner engagement.
Lead on ensuring work aligns and integrates with strategic communications and engagement priorities, narratives and campaigns.
Build and develop productive working relationships across the partnership, partner networks and wider government to understand stakeholders’ priorities, structures, policies and outcomes, and build these into communications and engagement objectives.
Lead on partner, internal and workforce communications and engagement to support change.
Have senior responsibility for the development and sustainment of internal channels and content, with digital at the heart of the approach.
Have senior responsibility for relevant insight and data to inform strategy, channels development, interventions and messaging.
Support a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement to ensure approach remains engaging and fresh.
Work at pace in responses to wider departmental and government policies.
Provide communications and engagement training and coaching to leaders.
Understand data protection, consent, copyright and intellectual property law around the use of case studies and third-party content.
Undertake professional and personal learning and development as appropriate.
