Summary
We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Female Supervisor* to join our dedicated team, covering both our Airdrie and Coatbridge services. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our service, providing high-quality support to adults with complex needs while leading a compassionate and dynamic team committed to making a real difference.
As a Supervisor at Sense Scotland, you will take a leading role in guiding a dedicated team of staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to the people we support.
Key responsibilities include:
>Ensure high-quality care and support for the people we support, meeting their individual needs.
>Lead by example, offering supervision, coaching, and on-shift training to staff.
>Guide staff to deliver a flexible, person-centred service for the people we support and their families.
>Manage staffing rotas, adjusting as needed for changes in the people we support or staff requirements.
>Oversee the implementation and regular updating of individual support plans.
>Maintain accurate records and staff attendance, ensuring compliance with standards.
>Support staff in their professional development and ensure they have the skills needed for person-centred care.

>You’re willing to complete a qualification in Social Services and Health Care at SCQF Level 7 or higher (or hold another qualification recognised by the SSSC). Additional PDA units may be required.
>You have at least two years’ hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
>You’ve supervised staff and coordinated support before – even informally.
>You understand statutory requirements like the Care Inspectorate standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
>You’re flexible and able to work across a range of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
>You have strong IT and organisational skills, with the ability to manage office tasks efficiently.
>You’re confident in coaching and mentoring colleagues to support their development.
>You have excellent communication skills, especially when explaining complex or sensitive information.
>You hold a UK Driving Licence
