Job Title: Warehouse & Delivery Driver
Location: Cardiff Bay
Hours: 7:15am to 1:15pm (Monday – Friday)

Puma Floors Ltd is a flooring contractor which specialises in fitting flooring for commercial, industrial and local authority sectors. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Warehouse and delivery driver to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual who has worked in a similar role and who is looking for a post that can vary from day to day.
Objectives:
You will be based at our Cardiff Site in sole charge of the day to day running of a small warehouse. Offloading deliveries, delivering and collecting goods from job sites and maintaining an orderly warehouse keeping the environment free of health and safety hazards.
Required Qualifications:
A full and clean driving licence with van driving experience
Desirable Qualities/Qualifications (* But Training will be provided)
Forklift qualification *
Manual handling certificate *
A CSCS card *
Organised and methodical approach
Can do attitude
Ability to work on your own initiative with a forward-thinking mindset
Main Responsibilities:
Offloading and checking goods against delivery tickets each morning using a forklift truck
Loading up fitter’s vans with the items they require to take to site
Picking up additional goods from suppliers when required and taking them to site
Waste and recycling management
Keeping the yard, warehouse and offices clean and tidy
Being a vital part of a small team, you will be the lynchpin to ensuring that operations run as smoothly as possible
Proactive and able to think on your feet, ensuring that the right decisions are made according to the circumstances presented
Occasional overtime and the ability to be flexible when operationally required, such as assisting fitters on site
