Summary
As a Band 5 plain film Radiographer main duties will include undertaking a wide range of general radiographic examinations in the emergency department and minor injury units, as well as in outpatient and inpatient departments. In addition, duties will include performing portable examinations in the resuscitation department and on general wards, as well on high dependency and intensive care units. As a Band 5 Radiographer you will be required to provide imaging in theatre to support services such as Urology, Oncology, Trauma, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery. You be required to use a variety of radiographic equipment to produce high quality images. Full equipment training will be provided as part of the mentorship programme, as well training on imaging protocols and standards of image quality. As a Band 5 Radiographer you will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidates will need to be flexible and will participate in department 24/7 shift patterns.
