Waking Night Reablement Worker

Watergate Court

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum)

Typical night as a Reablement Worker

  • Support customers (65+) with daily living tasks, promoting independence and personal goals.

  • Provide tailored support with personal care, mobility, meals, household tasks, and medication.

  • Help with shopping, budgeting, tenancy, and moving to independent accommodation where possible.

  • Support customers to attend appointments, hobbies, college, or work.

  • Complete risk assessments, support plans, goal setting, and reviews.

  • Enjoy time for conversations and teamwork—no rushing from customer to customer.

You bring

  • Level 2 Health & Social Care Certificate (or willingness to work towards it)

  • Passion for supporting customers to live their best lives, with a flexible, person-centred approach

  • Experience in care (paid or unpaid) or supporting others such as family members

  • Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and remain resilient

  • Flexibility to work 7pm–7:30am on a four-week rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays

  • Confidence using technology for support plans, training, and team communication

You’ll also need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that

You’ll be joining our lively Watergate Court team, led by Registered Manager Zeyad and Deputies Eileen and Monika. We’re a close-knit bunch who love good food, the odd chocolate fix and a bit of friendly banter, while always delivering outstanding care.
