Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

An extremely rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at St Wilfrid’s to join our team as the PA to the Headteacher.

The post holder will be part of the Senior Leadership Team providing a high-quality, confidential and comprehensive secretarial, clerical and administrative service to the Headteacher and SLT in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the school as a whole. They will act as clerk to meetings within school and will ensure high confidentiality and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) processes and procedures are adhered to. The post holder will also provide administrative duties for the Headteacher and the Academy Council, ensuring a high level of professional service as the first point of contact with the school’s stakeholders on matters requiring the Headteacher and/or SLT’s attention.

What the school offers its staff

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also inspected by the Catholic Inspection Service (Sec 48) in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas graded Outstanding.

We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools. We are a Catholic School that extols the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values of servant leadership in everything we do.
